• The timing: The appointment lands just two weeks after Francesco D'Amato left EF Research for Ethlabs, and roughly two weeks after EF's own privacy specialists spun out as EthSystems, part of a stretch that's also included Hsiao-Wei Wang's exit after nearly a decade and a 20% staff reduction tied to EF's leaner, endowment-style restructuring.
