Bitcoin and other cryptocurrenices were rising early Friday amid signs of easing tensions across the Middle East. After weeks of fighting between Israel and the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah, Israel and Lebanon agreed to a 10-day cease-fire on Thursday, according to The Wall Street Journal. President Donald Trump said he hopes Hezbollah “acts nicely and well during this important period,” The Journal noted.
